Abingdon Winery is a park like setting with trees, wildlife, soft ripple sounds of the stream and sounds of the river rolling over the rocks. On 50 acres in Washington County, along the South Holston River, the winery is just a few miles from historic downtown Abingdon, and many outdoor activities, including boating, hiking, camping, biking, horse back riding, skiing, Blue Grass music, story telling and mountain crafts. The famous Virginia Creeper trail is 1/2 mile from our winery.
Abingdon winery is part of a growing number of vineyards and wineries in this far southwest side of Virginia. As a group, we are committed to helping one another become established, as having several wineries in our area is a plus for visitors.
